St. Louis, MO Alumnae Chapter

Tri Delta is an assembly of women with shared values where you can be yourself and belong to something bigger. We are brave, bold and kind. We are passionate about serving others, committed to becoming the best version of ourselves and dedicated to helping women live, learn and lead – with Purpose – for a lifetime.

A letter from the President

The St. Louis Alumnae Chapter was chartered January 10, 1914 before our Missouri collegiate chapters at Westminster, Southeast Missouri, Washington University and Even Mizzou were founded. The only collegiate chapter was at Drury University in Springfield, founded just 2 months earlier in November 1913. Early alumnae members included TriDeltas from Northwestern, Syracuse, Millikin, Texas, Arkansas and Kansas State. We have continued to add more women from other chapters from all over the US, including Iowa, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Iowa State, Southeast Missouri, Florida State, Wisconsin, DePauw, Boston,  Florida and many more.

Our earliest records are from the 1940s, with sisters being members of the War Council of St. Louis Women, volunteers of the USO and Red Cross. Tri Delta War Service Scholarships were presented to students at Washington University, where alumnae members continue to support collegiate chapters with activities as well as serve in their communities.

From magazine, blouse, flower, and calendar sales to help support the alumnae chapters and members that needed assistance, to the 'Delta Days' in the1980s to explore St. Louis attractions and landmark. Our chapter has been comprised of women with diverse backgrounds and experiences, who have come together with different skills to support each other, the colligate chapters, and our community and philanthropic causes.

If you are a TriDelta in the St. Louis area looking to reconnect to TriDelta, or meet new sisters, we welcome you at any of our events! Whether you just moved here or are stopping by, we love to meet sisters and make new connections. Please check out our latest activities on the Events page and feel free to reach out to us at for details.
