Chapter Philanthropy and Service

In addition to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the St. Louis Alumnae Chapter supports local institutions such as St. Louis Children's Hospital, Cardinal Glennon, and Mercy Hospital. We also support scholarships and funds that help our Tri Delta sisters, including local Panhellenic scholarships, and donate money to Tri Delta’s Foundation.

Each year, we host chapter events to support these charities. We fundraise and participate in the St. Jude/Walk Run, in addition to holding an annual ‘Corks for a Cause’ wine event, generally in February, to raise money for St. Jude. In December, we host our Pine Party event, where we gather at a member’s home and stuff paper bags with coloring books, crayons and stickers to donate to St. Louis Children’s Hospital. These activity bags are handed out over the holiday season to the siblings of the patients that come to the emergency room. The annual event is a great time to socialize with our sisters and our area Tri Psi members! Our luncheon group collects money at their quarterly meetings to donate to Tri Delta’s Foundation, generally in a local members honor, and also fill Christmas stockings with candies for the Circle of Concern in Valley Park at their December luncheon.

We are grateful for not only the support of sisters in the chapter and those that work at these institutions, but also for our local Tri Psi Chapter and their commitment to helping children in the St. Louis area.
